i love Rent. of course, the original Broadway cast will always triumph over the movie and other makes of it, but no matter who sings this song, I will always get the shivers. The good kind. The kind that makes you go "Wow." <3 Rent

seeing rent front row is among the life experiences i will never forget. hearing this as a teenager (i'm 26) did more than anything but "the picture of dorian gray" to help me accept my bisexuality. such a powerful song and adam powell worked the hell out of it.

Pssst, guys, it's perfectly OK for people to dislike this song. I've seen Rent live on stage 9 times, including the OBC, and I love this song, but let's allow others to freely express themselves. Maybe they'll like it someday. Or maybe never, and that's OK too.
