I think that people with enough sense to come to this forum to learn about the truth, had better use the time available to them to discuss matters other than the spiritual underpinnings of Jesus Christ.

Well, you are entitled to your opinion. However, I know, by faith that I am saved - through Jesus Christ. Yes, it is faith. But God is a Spirit and to experience faith it is a Spiritual experience. Just pray, ask God to show you the truth. Jesus is the Way the truth and the Life. Yes, people have done awful things in HIS name, God knows the ones who are TRULY his, not just by words, but actions.
