Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and many others spoke French...Romney sounds like a high school student with a very heavy American accent...it's ridiculous that he's being criticised for speaking "fluent" French when he clearly doesn't and even if he did, that would be a good thing.
