@ItsADayOfGreen sorry, been very busy. I'll get to is this weekend. I can tell you this much. it's not using action script so much. Created one leaf growing then put that symbol in a group in another symbol... then placed those all over the tree. The tree part "the trunk" itself, is a separate symbol or movie clip. I'll walk though it in detail next week when i get it up on YouTube.

@ItsADayOfGreen made the tutorial explaining how I made this animation. I will need to trim it down some and adjust the audio and I can post it up tonight. Thank you for your interest.

thank you for the comments. Sure I can make a little tutorial walk though the Flash Source file and explain how I made this. I did it flash old-school style with very little little to no actionscript. Wanted it to be able to export it as a video, so I kept it in timelines with graphic clips on layers.
