This was recorde by Mr. Autry in 1950, and is the flip side to " Peter Cottontail ".Gene Autrys cowboy songs were his trademark, but he recorded many fine songs for children.His Easter songs and Christmas songs are well remembered by his adoring fans such as myself.It is through records and Cd's that his music is now enjoued by millions.There are a few pops, but the recording is from a record.Please enjoy.

Personally, I love this song by Gene Autry. I had (or may still have) an original copy. Got my RCA 45-rpm record changer in 1951, and this was one of the first records I got with it.

What a gift Gene Autry had for doing songs for our genuine holidays, ranging from Easter to Christmas, & this tune is one example of it! If only he'd have done songs for Halloween.

Very cute song! You do notice, though that here & there is goes a beat or two in to "Frosty the Snowman"! Great that so many holiday songs (good ones like this) got recorded! :-)
