Hi. glad you like the song, but I don't think it's necessary for an artist to perform in exactly the same style as the original to sound good. However, I can understand that if you have a favourite version you won't be so keen on hearing it done any other way. I feel like that about BB King's the Thrill is Gone.
Anyway, I think Gus plays well. This weekend he's playing at a festival down south.
