I get so mad sometimes Cus I only have one friend who plays final fantasy and gets my love for the soundtracks. When I've played them to family members they are just like "yeah very nice" in a sarcastic patronising kind of way. They just see them as stupid songs of stupid games and think I'm being over the top. And all my other friends are only interested in cod and battlefield -.-

One of the reasons I think ff7 is the best game of all time is because of it's soundtrack. I mean I never even got past the first disc of the game! And why? Cus everytime I went somewhere new i would sit there for half an hour just listening to the music.

Uematsu is the best video game score composer of all time, and final fantasy 7 is the game with the best score of all time. Every single song on the game is perfectly suited to the setting and atmosphere and really heightens the emotions of the player. They are all so memorable too. I like to listen to my ff7 soundtrack CDs every so often and i fall in love with it every single time. So great and so nostalgic.
