  • uhm....yes but that's literally all that recycle does.

  • Yes, but Recycle is standalone and Kontakt works in AU/VST formats within a session for faster workflow.

I use Recycle way more often than Kontakt due to habit, but let's be honest here: Kontakt does so much more than Recycle ever will be able to.

Very nice tutorial BTW thanks for sharing :)

  • recycle is not a sampler it just chops the pieces up.

  • I've been having trouble getting my samples to change tempo, and tune like here in this video....I believe i was using and MP3...i sliced it in Audacity...does it matter the file format or whats wrong?

  • again..how do you take the sliced samples and have em mapped out on your midi keyboard??

it seems i can get them sliced relatively easier but when i trigger my midi the whole sample plays and not one of the individual slices

  • rex file very nice can be load into battery and kontak too but kontak way more deep!!

  • No contest. Kontakt is the best hands down

  • yeah, but this also has the best sampler library of any program out there

  • ReCycle can't processes or reverse individual slices and it only works as a standalone program (it is not a sampler and can't be ReWired into a host) ReCycle is also quite long in the tooth now and they should give it away for free like ReBirth, but they still sell it based on the fact that it is the only program that makes REX files, they dropped hardware sampler support so that's all it's good for (making REX files)

  • yes, but Recycle already does this at a fraction of the cost.
