What did you take this version off of? Album version was different. esp at 3:40. At least the USA release that I had. And did you cut it off at the end?
back in the 70's this song was our fucking anthem ,"l don't say much ,but l make a big noize" we always did too ,great music ,and great times ,with a great band ,missed the reunion, but l caught lan in Hoboken a few months ago ,for a change he played a lot of Mott,n he covered Man Overboard , another great album, the man looks great at 72,it just goes to show your never to old to R & R if u still want to ,he even played Saterday Gigs ,awsome show...
These two tunes, 'Sucker' and 'One of the Boys' are the best Hoople tunes ever--'Dudes' was a Bowie tune, which is the only reason it isn't in consideration. Special considerations to the live version with Ariel Bender on 'Walking with A Mountain', 'Rose', 'Rest in Peace', 'Laugh at Me', 'At the Crossroads', Rock and Roll Queen' (dedicated to my special Girl), and everything else hat makes you get off your arse ; )
Mott was the most under-rated Brit Band of all-time.
Is this a 45 realease?
