This video discusses the pros and cons of Frequency vs. Time Domain Modeling and Simulation, and a GA Tech developed methodology called MFDM ( Multi-layered Finite Difference Method). E-System Design has developed methodologies that allow you to focus on the Frequency modeling and simulation to resolve as many issues as possible, and then convert to the Time Domain for evaluation of the entire network design with minimum iterations in the Time Domain, since it is inherently more costly than working in the Frequency Domain for Optimization of IC Designs.
