I think Cena himself answered his haters in three words "Rise Above Hate". Cena haters hate him just because he is doing his job. Cena himself dosen't like his character but he is a face, he can do nothing but to make money for the company
and I think his previous character is a prove of his talent, though I don't see any problem with his current one. He did a great work against Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Orton, Nexus, Miz and so many others
