Source Audio Hot Hand MIDI-EXP

The glowing blue LED on the headstock of the guitar is controlling the filter sweep.

Brand new MIDI pedal into Ableton Live 7. The ring is mounted to the headstock to make all of the Guitar Hero/Rock Band fanboys' jaws drop when they see Star Power in the real world.

Please excuse how absolutely shitty my playing is. That SG is tuned to standard with .12 gauge strings... I'll post more videos with my other guitars soon.

By putting the motion sensor on the head stock, it is possible to take advantage of both the X and Y motions of the sensor and use those to control different effects parameters. Very interesting.

is there a PDF instruction manual for the MIDI-EXP? Mine didn't come with anything from Source Audio and I'm unfamiliar with MIDI, so any help regarding the functions of the pedal would be fantastic.

heheheh, to be honest it looks kind of like you've got a B-Bender on the thing.  I know its much more involved than that, but with the movements you're making I'm just reminded of a b-bender
