North Brabant is the state in the Netherlands where Colonel Parker is born. The city is called Breda.

  • The so called Colonel didn't want to be photographed and preferred to hide in the background, collecting money and fleecing money from Elvis. He was not an American citizen and didn't allow Elvis to tour overseas because the Colonel couldn't obtain a visa to travel overseas. Elvis could have been a big overseas star but was held back because of Tom Parker.

  • With the help of Tom Parker, Elvis is a big star in the U.S.A. Maybe with another manager Elvis wouldn't become such a big star, and nobody ever heard of him in Europe. Many of today's artist would like to have a manager like Tom Parker. People forget that Elvis still is one of the best selling artist in the world even 32 years after he has died.

  • Where does he say something dutch then?

  • He says at 14 seconds "liefje" 16 seconds "meisje" 27 seconds "Noord-Brabant" and by 44 seconds: Speak slowly it is sixty years ago............

    BTW goei cluppie PSV!!

  • @joeypegasus just because you was born in a stable does'nt make you a horse !!

  • @Geruiteindhoven What a rediculous statement ..ELVIS WOULD STILL HAVE BECOME A MASSIVE STAR ..HE HAD THE TALENT AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF GREAT MANAGERS OUT THERE WHO WOULD HAVE GOT ELVIS BETTER DEALS ..ELVIS WOULD HAVE PLAYED OUTSIDE OF THE USA IF HE HAD GOTTEN A BETTER MANAGER ! Tom Parker was a con man who took Elvis for half of everything and ..by 1974 Elvis was looking to change his management but he was conned again to stay with parker purerly for financial reasons as parker threatend to sue

  • the colonel still sounds bossy

  • Tom Parker. A necessary evil I guess. Good thing for him Elvis had a sense of loyalty!

  • Elvis should have got rid of Parker in 68 but never, let's face it he couldn't fire his own body guards he got his dad to do it? Elvis got tied into the movie deal by Parker + then into the Vegas casinos deal by Parker! So elvis was doomed? Rip the king..pdh

  • i wonder about that too,i heard valid points that parker could had obtained an american citizenship for the time he was living there, some writers suggest an sinister motive,he was fleeing from holland over something else,i thinking,if elvis didnt have parker he probably would toured europe like frank sinatra, elvis had alot of chances to fire parker, but something held him back..
