This video presentation is called "Where Nature Rules" and contains amazing photos from the Faroe Islands - probably the most curious place left on earth according to New York Times and the best islands in the world out of 111 island communities according to National Geographic Traveler. The music in the presentation is Faroese and made by Elin Brimheim Heinesen "Eitt dýpi av dýrari tíð" (An Abyss of Precious Time). (http://www.heinesen.fo) The film won 3. Golden City Gate Prize at ITB in Berlin 12. march 2009. It was uploaded to YouTube last year but there were mispellings in the first version which have been corrected in this version. Read the lyrics in Faroese, English, Danish and German at this link: http://www.heinesen.fo/Kommunikation/CV/Et_dyb_af_dyrbar_tid.htm#English

  • Im From The Faroe Islands, and i say go there i love my country, it has amazing nature. :)

  • Faroe Islands is one of the best countries in the world, and fuck all those Americans who hates them, those Americans should drown

  • @DogWalkingTall It's so funny when stupid people can't back up their arguments with logic, and just resort to insults instead of re-evaluation their arguments. :)

  • *packs baggage and goes to Faroe Islands*

  • @DogWalkingTall Lol, what, exactly is "shit" in that comment? When people respond like that it generally acknowledges that they have nothing [intelligent] to say, and have no idea what they are talking about. :)

  • @FreedomForOrcas That depends on how you insult them back, but in the way you did it, then no. However, you can't expect not to be insulted when you leave a comment like that on a sensitive subject like this - especially when this video has nothing to do with whales, which just makes it a provocation.

  • @Lemonz1989 - I insult people who insult me. Is that a crime?

  • @FreedomForOrcas About the same as your point, since this video has nothing to do with whales.

I didn't notice you left it months ago. And yes, you insulted people here - multiple times.

  • @Lemonz1989 - Mate, what point are you trying to prove here? I left this comment like months ago. I don't even care anymore. So just shut it and leave.

And by the way, I never insulted "Faroese people", I left my first comment expressing my disappointment that a group of people on the island slaughter whales - something which I disagree with. Now kindly fuck off.

  • @FreedomForOrcas Also the fact that the Welsh speak a Brythonic language, makes them Britons. It's the same with me. Denmark took over the Faroe Islands, but that doesn't make me less Faroese.

Also, you ignored my point when I said that you could get more pay off by using the time and energy you use insulting Faroese people, by actually helping your native ecology. There is more work to do, and you won't get Faroese people to stop killing whales by insulting them. You have to be diplomatic.
