Nice one, but particle noise is still too small at the end of the trail. Add some AO and it'll be just fine.

Nice job! the only part you might need to work on is the explosion part when the missile first hit.

looks awesome, my only complaint is the camera angles seem a bit stiff, however the movement of the 22's and the movement of the camera are great

Really? I thought it was the opposite. The cameras use what are essentially invisible magnets that are attracted to the jets to try and get a natural "hand held" look, while the jets move along motion paths in a more preordained way. Either way, I'm glad you liked it.

It took about a semester's worth of full work. Maya is great, but very complex (steep learning curve). I recommend taking a class on it instead of trying to learn it yourself.
