I think you are right, but up until just recently ford has had minimal competition. They've had no incentive to make vast improvements in the mustang. Things are changing now though, hopefully. Next years "coyote" engine will be interesting.

I'm gettin REAL fuckin sick and tired of seeing 45 year old women driving v6 mustangs at 10 mph in a 50 zone. in order to own a mustang, or ANY muscle car, you should have to pass a test. either A)be male

b) be a COMPETENT female driver

c) not be afraid of the car.

@Metallica0493 if so this ain't bad I drove a few v6 and 4 banger stangs and I must say they were the worst things I have ever tried to drift even with them having an open diff compared to other open diff cars

thats decent, with OK control. comeon! i can get more smoke at the wheels with my moms camry. it honestly looks like they just e-break and hope to powerslide. but still for a first time (im infering) is pretty decent.
