@Herimia You are wrong. BP has more safety violations than all the other major oil companies combined. They were fined record amounts after their Texas refinery fire and they changed nothing afterwards and the Gulf spill was the result. The BP manager on the rig was rushing the operation and over ruled the other companies managers on several safety issues which led directly to the spill.

@Herimia I guess that's why the CEO sold a third of his shares right before the disaster... DUFUSS!

This is fucking ridiculus, stupid damn biased tv show just giving the ignorant uneducated people what they want to hear. BP didnt do this on purpose its not the CEO's fault or anyone else in corporate positions, in fact it was most likely one of the employees not reading through the plans thoroughly and double checking calculations.

Repent, Pray! God Bless you.

35 countries offered to help over two months, the Fed gov't refused them all. Some were super tankers with the ability to skim hundreds of thousands of gallons (they only wanted to keep the oil). I fish (catch and release) from TX beaches, there are many species of fish and sharks here that aren't normally seen here, pushed right up against the beach. The cleanup chemicals and methane gas are decimating the gulfs ecosystem. The gov't protects BP instead of the Gulf. BP execs should be HUNG!!!!
