A Nelena Story 20.1

Joe - Come on, let's take him to the hospital. I'll go tell my parents.

*At the hospital*

Doctor - Mr. & Mrs. Jonas I'm afraid to say your son has diabetes.

Mrs. Jonas - Will he be fine?

Doctor - Yes he will, he should wake up in a couple of minutes.

(Demi calls Selena)

Demi - SELENA! You have to come to the hospital.

Selena - I can't my flight is about to leave. Why do you want me to go there?

Demi - Nick fainted!

Selena - WHAT!? OMG. What happened?

Demi - He started chasing your car and he just fainted. I overheard the doctor talking to his parents and he said that Nick has diabetes.

Mrs. Jonas - Demi sweetie, can you go with Frankie to get something to eat.

Demi - Sure Mrs. Jonas. Come on Frankie. Selena I'll call you later.

*At the plane*

Mrs. Gomez - Is everything ok?

Selena - Mom Nick fainted. Is there any way we can rebook our flight?

Mrs. Gomez - Honey the plane is about to leave. Our baggage will be hard to get back. We can't leave.

Selena - What if you guys go and I'll follow after. Please mom, I have to see Nick. I want to make sure hes fine.

Mrs. Gomez - Are you sure you want this?

Selena - Yes mom, I'll stay with Demi until I get another flight.

Mrs. Gomez - Ok then. (calls a flight attendant over) Excuse me maam, theres an emergency and my daughter would like to get off. It's really important.

Flight attendant - I'll see what I can do. (goes to the pilot and comes back) Ok please follow me this way.

Selena - Thank you so much mom. See you soon. (Selena gets off the plane and takes a cab to the hospital. She sees Demi with Frankie.) Where is he?

Demi - OMG, you came!

Selena - Is he fine?

Demi - How are you suppose to go to L.A. now? Where are your parents?

Selena - Demi!

Demi - The doctor said hes fine.

Selena - Can we go see him?

Demi - Umm I have to wait for Frankie. You go ahead.

(Selena finds Joe, Miley, Kevin, Mr. Jonas and Mrs. Jonas)

Selena - Is Nick alright?

Joe - Selena what are you doing here?

Miley - Your flight left.

Kevin - You're suppose to be on your way to L.A.

Mr. Jonas - Nick is inside. The doctor said he'll be up soon.

Mrs. Jonas - Where are your parents?

Selena - That's good to hear. I came as soon as I heard. Umm I told them I'll take another flight and meet up with them.

Mrs. Jonas - Are you going to be ok?

Selena - As long as I know Nick is fine. Can I go in to see him?

Mrs. Jonas - Doctor can she?

Doctor - Yeah sure go ahead.

(Selena goes in and sees Nick.)

Selena - Nick. I hope you're ok. (sits next to his bed. Takes his hand and holds them.) I know I shouldn't be here right now because my flight left but I wanted to make sure youre fine. (lets go of his hand) This is crazy, I shouldn't be saying this but for a minute I couldnt breathe when Demi told me what happened. It felt like my world turned upside down, knowing what happened to you. I may be moving away but my heart is always here with you. (Nicks hand begins to move) I wish I never auditioned. I wish that day never happened. It hurts too much to know that youre not part of my life anymore. That I can't go back in time to stop it from happening. Being here is hurting me right now because I know that we're not together anymore. (Wipes the tears slowly falling down. Nick opens his eyes and sees Selena. He takes her hand and she gasp. He smiles) Did you umm hear anything I said?

Nick - (nods) Every single word.

Selena - That's embarrassing. I should probably go.

Nick - Stay. Please. (Selena stays) Did you really come just to see me?

Selena - Umm (looks down) yeah. (Nick smiles. Soon enough everyone else came.)
