it's Amazing to me how an average looking character can have such a huge impact and become such a villian icon! The Blob just looks like any other fat American from the state fair eating ice cream and soda, but he surely is a fan favorite as a villian in the Marvel world!

@2:16, that's my favorite pic of the Blob. This is before they started drawing him as a nine foot tall, 1,000 lb behemoth. I always liked the original Blob, the short 5'10 guy who could still give the Hulk a run for his money. And in this pic, you can see the strain of the other guys including Scott Summers trying their best to move him.

That Marvel Fanfare story still is my favorite Blob tale. I'll never forget that image of him trying to feed Unis the Untouchable a chicken drumstick and the meat flying off it before it could reach him.
