I found a camera like this on the junkyard and it works like a sharm. By the way, Very informative video.

Thanks but please do a complete new update, when I read all the comments I am confused. I like to use the camera with Kodak Vision 2 200T and also with Black&White Tri X.

i just bought a 310xl. what film would you recommend to shoot ext. day scenes. and would i need a filter? cheers

Thanks so much for this tutorial!
I recently found a 310XL in working order at an antique store (they didn't know what they had so I got a great bargain).
I was disappointed to find that a lot of the film speeds that it used are no longer available, but this really helps.

Hey there, this is a great video. however, with the discontinuation of 64t, I now need to figure out how to make Ektachrome 100D look good. have you had any success with that yet?
-
great instruction, thx! i use the same camera with ektachrome 64t, its just great!
This is incorrect for Vision 3 200T. The cartridge you are using is NOT V3 200T, but V2 200T. The new V3 200T has a filter notch already in place, so a notch hack would not be needed.
Also the new V3 200T was not available at the time this video was made...it came out in late June/early July 2010.
I found your video since I recently bought a roll of V3 200T and when I saw mine had a filter notch already in place it caused me much confusion. A small typo perhaps but it makes a big difference

Just made the change to the title but I still talk about Vision3 stocks when in fact they should be referenced as Vision2. Thanks for catching this and sorry for the confusion!!

Hi - great video!
I guess you need to screw on a colour conversion filter if you are shooting outdoors when using this method?

@Caspersdaddy
Yes, you're absolutely correct. You could also just leave the camera set to the "sun" position leaving in the wratten filter. Thanks for catching that little but oh so important detail.
