This video shows you how to paint latex items using non-toxic paints, such as tinted latex and Stretchi paints, which can be thinned with water and airbrushed.

  • awesome and how much will i need in my airbrush to do detail do u think???

  • @PierceFitzgerald It depends how big the piece is, but I only used a tiny amount of each colour for that piece, and most of it was left in the airbrush afterwards.

  • can u show me how i can thin the paints so that they can run smoothly through my airbrush???

    thanks,

    pierce :D

  • @PierceFitzgerald I used Stretchi paints and thinned them with tap water - about 50/50 paint/water, then they work as demonstrated.

  • You can clean latex out of brushes by soaking them in white spirit or possibly turpentine. Need to give them a good clean afterwards with washing up liquid.

  • oh ok thanks :D

  • Thank you for this .
