  • the voice is half the fun

  • This is NOT Shadow of The Templars. The original SoTT had voice acting and was awesome, lol.

Who played and doesn't remember the gay hotel clerk, Kahn, Rosso, Sergeant Moue, Ultar ("is most luxurious cab driver in the world", LOOOL) or the cop disguised as a cop (the one that talks about "Jacques Sewer")? The original is the best by far.

Btw, there's a joke I never understood, when an Irish guy says that the "prunes" come from California.

Well, the original SoTT was f-awesome.

  • This game was so amazing on the PS1 the DS version and even the new animations just don't do it any justice what so ever.

  • God I loved that game, only in France could there be an act of terrorism and only two police officers show up.

So many things coming back to me - Gruber Electronics, setting off the alarm in Museum, Nico telling the story of her grandfather who pretended to smoke a pipe, that creep André, getting kicked by the goat and being squashed underground in Spain

  • makes me wanna crack out my broken sword collection, grim fandango, and sam and max games

  • lmao the start of this review made me laugh so much

  • the directors cut was kinda lame i just beat it...i mean i liked some of the new minigames or the close up on things but still i hated when you go to nicos place george dosent come in he teleports in....and it wasnt just in nicos place...some of the cutscenes where lame too the charathers look like they have been frozen or something... the graphics arent really changed or anything they look the same when you play as george...i played this game to know about nicos past thats all....

  • looks like one of the old resident evils without zombies or the creepy atmosphere or a really good storyline.

  • You should really check out the original Broken Sword on the Playstation 1 :) I say this version is far more superior than the DS version, Everything is voiced, no cutscenes text dialogue :) which makes it a very immersive game :) ^_^

Both are great versions of the same game, i just prefer the old skool ps1 version :)

  • lol the state of george BS series is fucked, fuck this shit game, the original BS back in 1996 is the best

  • @shaunberry1982 continued:::::> something, they could have atleast gave you the option of turning the thing off. It's on PC now and still it's got that stupid blue flashing circle shit. I just use Scummvm to play the original.

I hope the designers give the fans what they want and make the next one 2D and not 3D, nobody liked the 3D ones hardly. Some games are good in 3D , like Grimfandago which I couldn't imagine 2D but that's because it was 3D to begin with.

  • @MagisterHamid I totally agree, Revolution have made some stupid decisions in recent years, I mean it's great they made a directors cut but they did some things to the game that make it shit compared to the original.

One thing I can't stand more than anything is the stupid blue circle highlighter thing that blinks when your near and interactable object. I mean ok maybe modern people aren't that patient anymore, personally I love pixel hunting in point and click, I get all exiceted when I find
