Toprope anchor system rigging with a top belay (independent belay line) for a 40-foot rappel at Tecumseh rocks (council fire ring) at Forestburg Scout Reservation, NY in April 2010. Belay rope and belayer (instructor) are each anchored at two solid points. Apologies, home movies at their finest (not), dialog and camera work ramble more than I'd prefer. Oh well, live and learn, it gave my friend one example of rigging a rappel here. Thanks!
Lessons learned: A couple Scouts declined, so next time I'll set up another lower rappel. Also, I'll have more staff to minimize the wait and maximize the fun.

Dialog corrections: Oops, no, I was not "lowering" the rappeller, I was belaying a rappel, and most of the time the belay rope had some slack so the rappeller could control the descent. LOL- no, I'm not 4' tall, I put the webbing around 7' high on the ground school tree, not just "5 or 6 feet!"
