  • Mr. Smith is a neat, neat guy.. got a chance to meet him in Charleston, SC about 12 years ago.. He was in a hurry to meet some other people, but took time to chat and was very gracious.

    Have been a fan since Wayyy back! This is great stuff!

  • Thank you Moviemagg for sharing this. Watched him on channel 3 in Charlotte for most of my childhood. My neighbor, Carl Hunt , played banjo with the group. I too enjoyed the gospel music on the show, most of it written by Arthur Smith. I heard him comment once that the shows were done live and not many were taped so a clip of a old show is precious to have.
