I first saw this in here in the Philippines

the bottles are interesting, but I would have liked to see the room and how it was lit.

can i suggest the uses of led lights. it used 1/3-1/10 of the power for the same amount in luminousity. though its about 2 times the price in america than the round bulbs. led lights doesn't get nearly as hot as regular bulbs. so it may be alot more usefull when there is no sun or not enough sun

@devilish233 no, its just water. chlorox is added to keep bacteria and mold from growing in the bottle. the water defracts the light so that it spread throughout the room. so it only works when there is sunlight.

the bottle light can be only use during daylight,if i right...

How about at night? will it still glow? or have a light?
-
So it's a skylight.

really cool..... try using transparent pvc pipes ...fill it with water....use mirrors to reflect the light from outside in to the pvc pipe

That type of panel will let in light but also heat. Our summers here are brutal and we don't want more heat, just light.
