I have some questions, so I've got a crappy ATT Modem(learned just now that its a modem ;)) bt I am a gamer and high high ping in every game i play on my computer. Do I have to buy a new Modem/Router combo or do I connect the router to the modem. Ohh and I want N router, sorry if I sound weird, iam hispanic. Please rely :)

i have a ps3 and only a cable modem for optimuim when i search for connection on ps3 i find one called liksys and it has 100% but it has a WPA TSK AES lock on it and idk the key but theres another connection called optiumumwifi but its to week should i get a router

@legosithlordyusei12 if you can't plug directly into your cable modem, yes you need a router. those networks your ps3 are picking up are wireless, cable modems don't put out wireless connections until they are combination router and modems.

i dont understand anything ;(, OKOK. I got PC with XP and laptop with vista
Under my computer-table i got an modem (maybe) and the name is A-link WLAN. (maybe WLAN) i got in my PC a wired connection but in my laptop its wireless.
So how can i got two connections from modem??? And i even dont know my WPA and when i opened this laptop first time, it connected to internet just automatic.
But when im trying to do this with my PSP, i need a WPA key? Why is that?
You maybe know how to find my WPA? TY
