For a man who claims to understand pedophiles, Jim McGinty doesn't seem to understand much else it would seem.
Putting his own selfish interests ahead of those that voted for him, McGinty abandoned his seat mid term, on 4 April 2009. At the by-election on 16 May 2009, the ALP lost the seat to the Greens.
McGinty may understand pedophiles, but he doesn't understand so many other things.
The ALP are wishing him well, but one has to wonder, and suspect that they are happy to see him gone.
