I love this!!!!!! LOL! I'm a huge Mandrell fan, and I've never heard this one before. Yeah, late 70s "country." Then again, BM was most popular with pop country,even though she sang hard core country both at the beginning and end of her recording career. haha

Wow, THAT brings back memories! This was on Barbara's "Just For The Record" LP, released in the fall of 1979. Listening carefully to the refrain, I hear a distinct musical arrangement similar to "Sleeping Single In A Double Bed," which was released about a year earlier from her "Moods" LP. Both songs were written by Kye Fleming and Dennis Morgan, who wrote a bunch of Barbara's other songs from around that time. (I could've done without the nearly naked people showing off in this video!)
