Kessler KC-Lite 8 First Try

I just got it, and make this first try... I took Canon 5D2 camera, Manfrotto 701 videohead, a few lenses ( 16-35L, 24-79L, 85/1.8 and 150/2.8 Macro ), Davis&Staford tripod, 8.9" external monitor, 20 Lb. counterbalans weight and KC-Lite 8 Kessler Crane on my bicycle.. :))) , and go to Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY ( 2.5 miles from my home ) Only a problem I've got today - is wind.. :( you can see how it affect video on some parts...

To euwingtham: I would recommend to get Kessler 12'/8' Crane..instead of this KC-Lite one .. as I did :) IT's MUCH BETTER!

how windy was it? its really going side to side from half way in the video. its cool though. are you using the hercules head? thanks for the demo!

@formattester6 --> It was really windy, and I use just my simple Davis&Stanford Tripod with it - the SAME as they reccoment on Kessler site...

I don't have a Hercules head yet.. first I will get they 12/8' Crane.. Or maybe other HeavyDuty Crane, by someone else.. This KC-Lite-8 do not fit my needs anyway..

12/8 Crane, if you take it WITH SHORT TIP getting very flexible - you can use it as 5', as 8', as 12.. or even as 18' with additional extention, so.. ? :)

a 701 can take the weight of the crane + the counterweights?

Are you using the long QR plate or short one?

If I was to buy just the KC-Lite 8.0 Camera Crane, do I need to get my own tripod and head to have that connected to it? I'm kinda confused with the price listing in kessler's website :(
