Have you ever seen TV news live trucks around and wonder to yourself how it all works. This video will show you how it does. Its a simple look about how a live news broadcast can be transmitted from a remote location; to the TV station; and to tour home television set. Vide journalists Tim Honeycutt and John Berry provide the behind the scenes look, enjoy.

  • I can barely hear what your saying in the background because the voice over sound needs to come up and the music audio sound level for the music needs to come down a lit bit more.

  • @3034893118 Thanks for the advice.

  • I really liked watching this!! :) Seems like it takes forever to get everything put out just for 5 minutes or so of shooting. Crazy!

  • Sometimes the set up is quicker than it seems.

  • live shoots are fun

  • @CameraGuy1986 yea anytime if u need more advice on a video just let me know I hope u know what i was talking about.

  • Legend for making this. Do you only do these shots, like weather reports, or do you also do shots that aren't streamed live like say a car crash etc. And do you have to go to uni for these live shot types, would it help to go?

  • @ramiro0412 They have an antenna on the back of the camera that feeds the A/V signal to the retractable truck antenna.

  • @ramiro0412

What do you mean by "pass?" I'd really like to help, and dont understand exactly.

But if you want to know if you can use RCA cable, I'd say you can, but it's low quality.

  • @TheFlipVlogs how the cameras get wirreless ?

  • @cameraperson can i pass with bnc audio? I have a canon camera xl2 and has bnc output and want to transmit over the Internet, but the RCA cable is very expensive, and I want bnc this long, you can pass on bnc audio?
