a more accurate description would be "turbo converted to jet engine" since there's not actually a turbo powering a jet engine

Gas Producer + Freeturbine + Transmission, same setup is in most of today's helicopters.

Turbo charged jet engine??? Not sure if that description is 100% accurate there..... But it looks like an interesting set up... After looking at the second video my best guess is it is a gas turbine boosted by a jet turbine (made from a turbo charger).

A good description is perhaps turboshaft engine. Not a turbocharged turbine... same shit but pretty redundant.
