How important is the feet position? I tried putting my feet at normal pushup position and wide position but i actually get better results when my feet are in normal pushup position than wide
Does this exercise have to be done with feet wide apart?
Doing them with your feet at different positions is actually just variations on the same exercise (wide vs narrow).
The "standard" way i've heard of is to put them a little more than shoulder width apart - about as much as this guy does them. Check it out when he shows you the "from the front" view and you can try and do it in a mirror to get the same width if you want to.
We call these "Praying Monkeys". They're used a lot at parkour jams and sessions for conditioning. If you do too many at once you'll liquefy your arms though.
