原唱為 Les Paul & Mary Ford， 於1953年推出，倆夥兒寫了、灌錄了無數的情歌。其後，無數亮閃閃的歌手也灌錄過此曲子，Tommy Edwards （1960年），Elvis Presley （1971年），Eddy Arnold，Johnny Rodriguez （英/西班牙版） 等其他。我選擇了我喜歡的 Gene Pitney 於1965年版本。

Gene Pitney sang a lot of songs, Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence are at the top of what he sang.

Gene Pitney is tremendous at this song,he has the right tone and it will take something special to beat him ,
