I can state categorically that the new documentary Brothers at War is hands down the best war movie—documentary or fictional—ever made."
-Bill Newcott, entertainment editor for AARP The Magazine
"I've been waiting for this film since the early days of the war in Iraq. "Brothers at War" is an honest, on-the-ground documentary about the lives of Americans fighting there. It has no spin. It's not left or right. I don't recall if it even mentions President Bush. It's not pro or anti-war, although obviously the two brothers fighting there support it. It is simply about men and women."
-Roger Ebert

.Dr. Dave-You're right on about that Oscar! My husband and I saw the movie last night right here in Decatur. We both could not be more proud than if these were our sons!! I still have tears in my eyes from the emotional impace it had.

yes this isn't the usual Hollywood battles, the usual political war film, its personal and even though those movies can be good i think this will be better. The whole idea of the soldier and their families point of view and focus is going to be great and actually shrink the amount of integration problems like that of the Vietnam "conflict" and really should also make a damn good film *also may I note that the text regarding Vietnam is not a show of opinion*

this film shines in its apolitical approach to war. it focuses on family and people only. this movie does not focus on the political context of the war but on the human aspect.
i am very liberal and antiwar but i support the solder and fully endorse this film.
