Jazz Blues Guitar Study by Larry Bolles enables a beginner to start playing bar chords and have fun doing it. The ending is more difficult-could be simplified. Great learning piece or just fun solo to play. This was played on a 1951 Gibson ES 125 plugged straight into the puter from a line out of the amp. Lazy Blues could be played either with a pick or fingerstyle. Once your index finger can do this well try the E type bar chord. Note that the shape of the first bar is like an A chord but has an E bass note and so functions as an E11 chord. The next chord looks like DMA7 but is an A6 chord. This gives it a Jazz feel and sound. Enjoy!
