BATTLE #4: War of the Jo Staff

This is the Fourth of the BATTLE shorts. This time we change weapons yet again.

After completing Christmas Siege 1 & 2, Outrider 1 and Kindred Killers, we shot a series of BATTLE shorts in an attempt to improve our ability to choreograph action scenes, set-up camera angles and edit fluidly.

While we've improved a lot since these were made back in 2003, I have not altered them from their original version.

These are meant to be fun so all martial art purists....just chill out and enjoy.

that was really good. i particularly enjoyed the bit when the guy in the black helmet threw his staff and snatched theotehrs. thats a technique i will try to incorperate in my own staff form.
