  • Japan needs to publish their "research" findings. If there is a valid research purpose, which I doubt, then the research needs to be justified. This is all about corporate profit disguised as research. Whale oil and meat is very profitable, ambergriss is HUGELY profitable if they find it, like striking gold.

  • The phones should remain for a couple of reasons, the first is practicle. What happens if there is a disaster and wireless goes down, what happens if wireless s jammed. people will not be able to communicate. The second reason, well, it's mostly nostalgic, they just look cool.

  • Even the death of 10 whales is to much for such a small population to recover from. Even if the Japanese are doing this for research what is the point if the whales are decimated

  • Are there any blue police call boxes left in the UK, other than Dr. Who's?
