i have a question. since i see you do a lot of gigs do you have some sort of contract that your clients must sign before the gig .

i am a beginning dj and i would like to begin with small gigs like parties from friends and people that my friends know etc so what should i put in a contract?

I generaly ask while i take the booking for them to pay me on the night after set up, so ,I set the kit up, get the lights on , music playing then i ask for payment, this way you dont have to run about asking people who by then could be a little drunk/ tipsy!, lol j

If you ever want something funny to watch when out doing a gig (and if you can get away with playing it), put on "work" aka "the broom stick song", now, when she gets to the "climb down" bit, put your fingers in your ears so you cant hear the music, and just watch the women. Its not half funny, the drunker the better!
