Though it wasn't her cleanest skate, 9 year old Gia Kokotakis got her first win in Juvenile Girls Freeskate with a 43.54. She received a 1 point deduction for a time violation and learned that she must stop spinning when the music ends. This is the 2011 South Bay Open Championships.

  • You are so good at skating! I wish I was as good as you! I'm 11 and still can't do a one foot spin :'( Well perfectly anyways I need some of your tips! I have been skating for only 1 year now. I also landed my loop not my flip though. Good luck in your other competitions! Please reply! :)

  • @JenniferOhLive Try to balance your body over your skating leg and just keep trying. I know you can do it!

  • How long have you been skating for? Ive only been skating for 6 months and working on my flip and loop :) your really good love the axel and doubles!!!!

  • @meglee106 I am 10 years old and I started skating at 4 1/2. But I didn't have my flip and loop in 6 months! That is wonderful!

  • @meglee106 but its not all about the jumps and spins. DO you now there is test you have tp pass for MITF and freeestyle for certain levels

and the probably are not clean

  • @luv2ksate But still, learning those things so fast is an amazing accomplishment. Do work on your moves. I have passed my Novice MITF and will take my Junior in May. Then, only Senior will be left.

  • Omg your amazing! I love you!

  • Thank you so much Gia! I found it and I think it would be my next music program! :)

I am one of your biggest fan!

  • @321mamy My coach had this version, but I think that it is from the original soundtrack off of Broadway. I think that it is the Overture. Good luck.

  • Hi! I am from Canada, And I do figure skating too. I LOVE your music and I would like to know how to get the same version as your.

I know the title, but I can't find it. I found a lot of music by Porgy and Bess, but not with the same artist. I prefers your version.

Thank you very much, and I like your video, you're very good :)
