  • I used to play drums for the Llandudno Town Band in the 80's, and always had great fun playing this tune on the bandstand each summer. I once got so carried away during the drum solo at the end that I sent my cymbal careering into the euphoniums! Great times, happy memories :-)

  • @ihateuserids

    That clarinettist sounds great.

  • This sounds very good. I used to play this (1st cornet / trumpet) with the Dukeries school band, Nottinghamshire. We used to have a blast.

I love Llandudno - have had many a good holiday there and enjoyed the band and the Punch and Judy and Happy Valley.

  • A great piece, well played. Suprisingly good audio quality considering the location and conditions.

I like the way they used a clarinet (?) for the solo I used to play (in a different band tho of course)

Thank you so much for sharing!

  • oi bump aint you the youngest there lol
