  • So it depends. Since the Blade Works itself has it's "existence" and is connected to it's "source," he'd actually have two possible targets at least. He could destroy the existence of the currently casted phenomena, or he could target it's support to the caster. Though I guess for that to be the case, it may actually have to be a direct attack on the source, or Magic Circuit used.

Though he'd likely NOT die from this feat, the explosion of Prana would likely do so. At least wound him badly.

  • @Willyvereb Yes. Shiki can indeed find whatever it is. Whether or not he'd survive the brain damage is a different matter entirely. In one route of Tsukihime, he point of deaths himself targeting specifically the soul within. I'm pretty sure the concept of a Reality Marble is not attached to one's soul. It his most definitely activated with Magic Circuit, meaning it is a tangible 'thing' within the body somewhere. Since it reflects a person's mind, I can only assume it is in their mind or brain.

  • @NanieYasha

Depends. Can Shiki really find the source of UBW (AKA the soul)? Also even if he does, he would probably die of the overload since UBW is still Archer's Noble Phantasm of sorts. Understanding the existence of Heroic Spirits and their extensions, the Noble Phantasms are beyond Shiki's capabilities.

I think it's safer to destroy the Boundary Field maintaining UBW in reality.

  • @NanieYasha Wrong. It's quite possible that Archer just lied Rin about the memory loss. Even if he didn't, he regained much of it by the time he met Saber. That's why he hesitated and Saber cut him up roughly. Rin later noted that Archer must be related to Saber somehow, otherwise there wouldn't be any answer to his reaction.

No, the fog and cogs as well as the reddish terrain symbolize that EMIYA is essentially broken as a person. Archer's snarky attitude comes from his biter experiences.

  • The cogs and fog symbolize how he's moving like a machine, without any knowledge of why. Just the nightmare. When Tohsaka summoned him, she did not summon him properly. He had forgotten "why." By the end of "Unlimited Blade Works," if Archer used the Blade Works again I guarantee it would be a clear, pristine sky without cogs or fog.

A Reality Marble isn't just a spell. It is something within the user. If it got Point of Death'ed, something baaaad would happen.

  • Note that in "Heaven's Feel," 'Archer' never unleashed the Blade Works. That is because The Blade Works exists due to his dream of being a hero. Just like how a servant's weapon has power granted by belief, his ability is the ability to single handedly forge his belief into reality. Without the dream of being a hero and the heart to know it was true, he cannot possibly wield the Blade Works.

  • @willyvereb Yea, I see your reasoning. But, a Reality Marble is "A great, forbidden curse that erodes the real world." The space within the Reality Marble is something different than the existence of the real world. A Reality Marble does not simply show what the inside of a person is like inside, it is very much a vital part of them.

I don't know every detail about Reality Marbles, but I know at least "something" would vanish about the character, if not their life.

  • No, that would only destroy UBW's manifestation the the real world. If Archer has enough prana he can even recreate it. But well, that would still need great concentration. Kind of like when he destroyed the "nature" to hurt Arcueid in Ciel's route.

Also, I doubt Nanaya has even a percent chance to move before being skewered by various Noble Phantasms. In terms of skill and physical ability:

    Servants >>> Nanaya

  • What if he just like... Point of Deathed not Archer, but "Unlimited Blade Works" itself? Would that in essence obliterate Archer's mind?
