Hull Truck Theatre: Ferensway. Opening Gala Events. April 23 - 25th 2009

After much anticipation Hull Truck's state-of-the-art new theatre on Ferenway opens it's doors to the public.

Guests walked down a red-carpet and were met by street entertainers including stilt-walking bouncers in the style of John Godbers classic play, a fire-eater and street dancers. As the opening coincided with Shakespeares birthday, a living statue of the Bard was also invited! After the opening events, the audience also enjoyed a world premiere of Creative Director John Godbers new play Funny Turns.
