I really want to make this rendang, but in the US, especially my area, i cannot find tumeric leaf, or limau purut leaf...is there any substitute i can use? Please let me know...Thanks...

Add chicken, sugar and salt. Stir into sauce.
Return to a boil, stirring until the broth reduces and the oil separates. Continue to reduce the sauce until it is a thick coating on the chicken.
Serve garnished with green onion and red chilli slices.
