Hi everyone! One of my friends, a top graduate of USC film school wrote and directed this short film called THE BROKEN HEART OF GNOCCHI BOLOGNESE. It's a whimsical, fun, romantic comedy with a great red-haired protagonist, much like Anne. The trailer is listed under my favorites on my YouTube page or you can find it by searching for the title. It's too bad they just didn't make a movie of "Anne's House of Dreams" which followed the beginning of their marriage (and the birth of their first two children). It was a great book. Lots of romance and heartache...without this stupid Anne as action hero stuff.

Loved the beginning but hated when "Anne goes to war". No woman went traipsing off the Europe to search for her husband in WWI. It would be like a citizen walking into Afghanistan or Iraq today. It strayed way too far from the books to be plausible. But I liked the early Anne/Gilbert scenes. Their chemistry is great and the relationship authentic. They're both better actors in this movie too. Particularly Jonathan Crombie. Better acting but sadly the story is atrocious.
