@NspirationTV I would suggest downloading the trial version as Toon Boom Studio offers animation specific features which Flash does not, such as the X-sheet, the multiplane camera and automated lip sync.

is it necessary to buy an expensive tablet for this or can I work with my scanner else?

@CreativeGuyKyle Yes but we would recommend going through the tutorials to understand how this application works. It is important to understand the basic animation principles.
