Let's blow a ridiculous amount of money building a fu<king castle in a place where people are exposed to absurd amounts of random $hit so often they might only blink twice and slightly register construction crews are blocking the sidewalks while on their way to something they actually do care about ...

... or just get a billboard in Times Square and spend the rest of the money on hookers and coke.

Actually, that's not the only reason.

Bill Gates, one of the richest people in the world, donates millions to find a cure for HIV/AIDS but he gives no crap about those people.

He does it because this lowers the amount he has to pay for taxes.
