@Feisty1967 Being English and of some Polish descent I can tell you while it's Folk dancing it's not really the same as Morris dancing.
Morris dancing is medieval, while the Krakowiak is a much later 18th century peasant manifestation. A form of Krakowiak was also danced in Ballrooms in Vienna and Paris which Morris dancing of course never has.
The Krakowiak dance is hilarious, makes me want to laugh whenever I see it and its cheeky especially if you understand the lyrics they sing!
