  • Is that a bang and olufsen deck?

  • It's a Technics SL-1210MK2, industry standard disco deck. Lovely bit of kit - I have two.

  • Thanx fast flyer2007 for posting this lost classic. I had this album when I was stationed @ Ft.Hood,Tx. in '75-76. I've been looking for thi song since I lost mine. I love the horn section & if you listen they sound alot like A.W.B. . I'm sorry to hear that Michael Brecker passed away. When did he pass? R.I.P. Mike & Thanx for the great music.

  • I always thought they sounded like AWB too. Mike Brecker died Jan 2007 - loss of a great musician. Thanks for the comment.

  • Idiot.

  • I remember this song....I think in the 70's....but I don't remember the group name. Did they have any other jammin' songs?

  • Whenever I see the opening scene of Jaws, I always think of this song, especially the beginning.

  • Thanks for the upload. This is a little remembered classic. I could not remember the name of this song to save my life. James Brown's "Hot" borrowed heavily from this song for the break in the middle of the song.

  • I used to have this album. It sounds great on vinyl - mine was on 8 track (yuk).

RIP Mike Brecker - what a great talent he was.

  • Ez nagyon tuti. Igazi lazulás, Fater szalagairól ismerem.

  • R.I.P. Michael, you played a cool sax.

  • good song it reminds me how old i am and how i love the music disco

  • one of the great debut lp's of all time!!! my dad had this back in the day (matter of fact , he still does have it!), and he used to play this track all the time, and i remember gettin' down like any 4 year old would to some good music!! and i did find my own copy of the lp 13 years ago for only a buck!!

  • EXACTLY what "jmack80" said!!!!

Mike and Randy (along with saxist Dave Sanborn & bassist Will Lee) d@mn near appeared on 95% of all albums produced in the late '70's and the '80's that had backing horn sections!!

Check out thier mad speed classic "Some Skunk Funk"! Insane!!!
