This is a comparison video featuring the 2011 MacBook Air (Core i5) & the 2011 MacBook Pro (Core i7 Quad-core).

Here are the specs for the MacBook Air -
Processor - 1.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with 3MB L3 cache
Memory - 4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 onboard memory
Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor with 384MB of DDR3
Here are the specs on the MacBook Pro -
Processor - 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB L3 cache
Memory - 4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 onboard memory
Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5

I want a MacBook Air to use on the go and on the school, but I can't really affort an expencive Mac, I'd rather buy a PC

I want to buy a MacBook and thought of the 13" Pro but DVD/CD drive is disappearing from laptops and it's the age of ultrabooks. I don't do any super fast applications and no video and nothing of this. I have two questions; do I wait for the new MacBook Air as they say it's going to replace the MacBook Pro 13" or buy the latest that was released in July 2011? the second question and if I buy now; Pro or Air?

Man I wish the MacBook air had a cd drive that is the only reason that I don't want the MacBook air because I don't do a lot of video editing but I do use the cd drive

pro 13 = 1,199.99 (super faster and you can upgrade)
air 13 = 1,299.99 (no soo faster)

wow man, this is not a fair comparison at all, this is really unhelpful because people want to compare the pure macs out of the box, of course people can upgrade the pro and obviously its going to be better but this was just really showing off how powerful your pro was....
