So basically, its engines are not for the same us.

About the radar, the Rafale is equipped with an AESA, electronic scanning array, able to track and engage much more different target (both air and ground/naval target) than the Eurofighter mechanical array. So no, Rafale's radar is far from being worst.

And this is without mentionning the top level optronic of the Rafale, able to detect and engage target 10 times further than normal optronics.

For engines, yes they are a little less powerful, but they are hyper-reactive (technically speaking, for a jet engine, there is some kind of "lag" between the time where you modify your thrust and the effective modification of this thrust, plus thrust increasing is not immediate (it can take up to 2 seconds to get from idle to max thrust). The Rafale's M-88 have an almost immediate thrust increasing, making it absolutely perfect for low alt flight.)

Frankly it seems more agile than the Eurofighter but it has a worst radar and lower power engines ...
